Bollywood stars and starlets, together with Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Amir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, and Gulzar came out in large numbers on Tuesday to cast their ballot in Maharashtra’s assembly election. Shahrukh Khan and wife Gauri, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt and wife Manyata and John Abraham exercised their vote in Bandra. Film-maker Karan Johar cast his vote in Malabar Hill.
“We are a democracy so we should vote and hope that the party that comes to power delivers. There are a lot of issues, from cleanliness to the economic ones. But you basically hope for good and honest governance,” said Shahrukh Khan.
