Those are companies people don't get attached to. Apple and other tech companies are a much more personal choice, generally. It probably also helps because those people are excited that Apple is making more money, allowing them to deliver more new and innovative products then would be possible with lower cash flow.
I guess I must be old school, I'm a consumer and I think about my wallet before the corporations treasure chest. Apple isn't pumping most of the profits back int the company or paying it out to shareholders. It's sitting in the bank. Or maybe they have something unimaginably huge in mind and I guess that is a possibility.

Maybe they're testing this so that when AT&T and T-Mo combine, future iPhones will be able to use the T-Mobile 3G bands, even though the phone would still be exclusive to AT&T (and of course, Verizon).
Or maybe the delay for the iPhone 5 is support for all major US carriers? That would be nice for you Americans!

Finally. This Calendar needs a CHANGE!
Hopefully, the skin could be changed,,so not get stuck with faux leather etc....Bring on the "flip" effect from ipad....would be nice...so one click will "flip" the page....make it cleaner....and more options of colors etc.

I'd also love for the world to be filled with rainbows and unicorns all the time too. However, if I walk around drunk in a bad part of town flashing a suitcase full of cash, well I shouldn't be shocked that I get robbed. Since I don't have a "Family Pack": Could you have a look at the license and check whether it would allow installing on three Macs plus in a virtual machine on two of these Macs for a total of five copies?

Apple will eventually support every network, and with that lock up the cell market for a generation. Excellent plan: Start with ATT, prefect the phone, roll out perfected versions slowly, get their data center up offering some free cloud-based system, streamlining the app stores, thereby slowly but surely eating the market share of other vendors.

Here's a radical suggestion, very unlikely to be implemented, but maybe interesting.
The iPod has a screen on the front which displays the controls, but the touch/presence/motion sensitive sensor is on the back. Since the controls are on the back, your view of the screen isn't obscured by your finger tapping on it.
But how do you see exactly where your fingers are? Simple - the "None Touch" sensor detects where your fingers are, and superimposes a representation of their position on the screen - it's almost like a transparent iPod, where your fingers behind the iPod are shown on the screen in front.
Benefits
- your fingers aren't obscuring your view of the screen
- you're not smudging or scratching the screen by tapping on it.
Disadvantages

A BevMo just opened up down the street from me, and they have beer tastings on Fridays from 4-7. So good.....
Mmmm WHO-GAR-TEN. So deelish. I remember when I first read the label, "coriander" scared me (I absolutely abhor the stuff), but whatever they put in there is fine with me as long as it keeps tasting the way it does. I love white beers. My cheap alternative is Rickards white, but you've got to throw lotsa orange peel in there to imitate the light poppiness of Hoegarden.
Sometime soon I've gotta visit the Bier Garden down at the Esplanade and sample, well, everything.

considering that amazon sells mp3 format and apple sells their non-universal format, it still doesn't matter to me. Until apple gets real and starts selling MP3s I will continue to buy from amazon. But I guess they don't care.
