Fresh and engaging! So many interesting elements crammed in there. Going to be less moody that the earlier games which many 'shockers might not like, but a change is always good to keep the boredom at bay.

Hmmm - not yet, good though will try...
Cool, just to rule out that possibility.

Anyone else find it EXTREMELY hysterical that the receipt says "$440" however people are willing to pay FAR more than that? I mean wow seriously. Strikes me as a "You ********* moron" moment.
Good luck selling this! Auction is about to end!
Have you tried getting one in a store?

Well, in my experience, dual-layer burning can be fickle business, with a higher fail rate than CD and single-layer burning, so I wouldn't say right off the bat that it's a broken drive.
I had a similar issue a while back, and found that using a different brand of media fixed the issue right away, so I'd suggest you try the same. Incidentally, Verbatim was the brand I actually got to work, whereas Memorex and [brand which I forget] failed repeatedly. Unfortunately, given the relative cost of these sorts of disks, experimentation isn't too cheap.

Hopefully the rest if the album sounds like this song, I'll be happy. I'm still buying it, but yeah, the 'This is it' concert would've been the best concert ever. Hopefully he has more unreleased tracks around.

I think both ways seem to have too many flaws, and like i said earlier many people will not use their alternative votes wisely and I am sure that most people are unaware that they do NOT need to give an alternative.
Well, i guess we will see how it all goes.... I am working the election tonight so i wont hear the end of it til about 7/8am tomorrow!!!

Hello All-
I just got back into distributed computing again with my new C2D iMac. I joined SETI & immediately joined the Mac Rumors team. I was suprised to find myself in 10th place now since I have only this one computer & it is now splitting the proccessor time 50% with the World Community Grid.
I searched for & could not find a MR team for WCG. I read Slookster's call for people to join the fight against AIDS & asked to have us sign in a previous thread to show our support. I figure we just need a team. I would be willing to set one up if that is allowed.
I really like the WCG concept of multiple research projects & that they use the BOINC client. Check it out:

I did the same thing once. Apple told me, wait till charge posts, then request refund. I also didn't use the app, and removed it right away. Once I requested refund a few days later, it was honored.

Hi : I am a new mac mini user..
I have the Mac Mini Server box and it is all setup and running...To start with i dont intend to use many of the server features...may be later once i get a better understanding of my need...
I try to connect to my home wifi and it says connected but not letting to browse...I assume this got to do with a static IP or DHCP etc..Since we have a windows notebook, iphone and ipad and everything works with that Wifi so i dont want to disturb any settings that could potentially impact..
Has anybody encountered this and what is the solution ??
Tks for your help

I always make a trip to the Company Store when I visit my parents in the Bay Area. Actually going there next week. I'd be happy to buy stuff for anybody who wants it. Shirts are about $20 I think and they also have mugs, water bottles and junk like that. Best thing from that store is the "I visited the mothership" shirt.
PM me if you want me to pick something up for you. Just pay for the item and shipping. I'll probably go next Tuesday.

You mentioned "when it does gain support" does that mean there is talk of updating drivers, or is it more likely that it will only be supported in future updates of the Macbook model itself?

wow, very impressive. Ad agency sites should be the best really, but most of them are awful. I suppose the web isn't generally the first port of call for most people looking for an ad agency of that calibre.
Incidentally, does anyone know how you do these kinds of Flash sites whereby you click on something and move or zoom into a particular thing, and then on exit you zoom out again as if in reverse. I mean you could do it with motion tweening but you'd have to do a different tween for each bit and the site would be a nightmare to maintain or update- it would seem it's done purely with actionscript, but then how do you get the nice easing motion? Whenever i've done motion in actionscript it turns out jerky and linear...maybe I'm just not clever enough. Wish I'd paid more attention in maths lessons now.
Saw this the other day- very nice and very simple use of flash, I thought (although the music seems an uneccessary embellishent): www.mortenlaursen.com

You must get sick a lot since your body has no germs to practice on. Washing your hands in a public restroom is almost completely negated the moment you touch the door handle to leave...but good luck with your sterile lifestyle.
Mmmmm, no, you use the paper towel to open the door, and discard it afterwards. :)
Or you hit the power door, with your elbow. ;)
